Hi! “Apa khabar?” (How are you?) Born and bred in Melaka, someone who is known to be a proud Malaccan and love promoting our culture and heritage of this historic city. I have been hosting tours in Melaka for the last 28 years and my greatest accomplishment as a tour guide was being awarded Achievement Award for Contribution to Heritage and Leadership from The Oxford Center for Leadership, United Kingdom in 2009 and recognised by Tourism Malaysia as the Best Tour Guide (Excellent) for year 2010/2011. My aspiration has always been providing a great experience for my guests and instil a better understanding and a little more appreciation towards the heritage of Melaka. So, in 2015, I established a Non-governmental Organisation called the Persatuan Sahabat Muzium Melaka or Friends of Melaka Museums with a group of members who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experiences back in 1940s to as many people as possible. A special shout-out to my team members; Eddie Chua & Colin Goh for the dedication in curating and hosting these authentic experiences in Melaka. I love connecting with fellow Malaysians and people from all around the world because I believe that we could learn so much from our culture and history, whilst we continue to improve the way we live at present and the future. I look forward to saying “Selamat Datang” (Welcome) to you and hosting this experience with you, your friends and family.
