Hello there! My name is Fairos but everyone calls me Yos in short. A Malay mixed Baba her... itage who was born and raised in Singapore until I decided to move to Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2009 to be closed with my family members My working experienced is wide ranged. From being an engineer, to airlines industry and then a Banker before I decided to quit the corporate rat raced and pursuit my passion in travel industry. Hence, now I am living my dream being a Tourist Guide. From my travel experience, I learned a lot about other countries’ culture, history as well as food. Oh yes, I'm a 'foodie" too! I love cooking different recipes and cooking is very therapeutic experience for me. Nevertheless, travel is my passion and food come second. We are all in search of happiness, which is so often tied to life passion and doing what we were meant to do. Our passion is what we want to do naturally, not what sounds good or what others want us to do. Passion is the fuel that drives us to get out of bed in the morning; it moves us toward our goals. Malaysia and specifically Johor state is rich with history, culture and ecosystem. As a host or tourist guide, I will love to show the world what Johor has to offer. There are 10 big districts in Johor with each has its own uniqueness. Johor has always been underrated tourist destination for tourist that comes to Malaysia. Hence, I believe that as a tourist guide based in Johor Bahru, it is my responsibility to show Johor to the world. Johor Bahru (JB) was founded in 1855 as Tanjung Puteri when the Sultanate of Johor came under the influence of Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim. The area was renamed "Johore Bahru" in 1862 and became the capital of the Sultanate when the Sultanate administration centre was moved there from Telok Blangah, Singapore.

JB is a city that is fast expanding in Malaysia but still preserved its history and charms. We will explore few culture rich streets near Johor Bahru City Square, yes, it is a shopping mall in a busy city but there are quite a few cultural spot worth visiting with eye opening stories still remain in the heart of the city. This shows the beauty of JB where modern and history appear together in harmony.

Every city will have their own secret and untold tales passed down generation by generation, I would like to share them with you, would you like to spend some time to explore with me?

Join me now before the city modernization took over the untold stories of Johor Bahru.
